in Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, E.R. NICU, and other neonate care areas
Exam is sold separately - This is a self paced program
There are now 2 online exam options available, (see descriptions below)
NRP 8th Edition OPTION 1:
Essentials Provider Curriculum (basics)
Covers chapters 1-4, starting with preparation of birth and concludes with needs and application of Positive Pressure Ventilation.
NRP 8th Edition OPTION 2:
Advanced Provider Curriculum
Covers all chapters 1-11 starting with birth-PPV-CPR-drug administration and other special considerations.
If you are not sure which one you need and you DO ATTEND deliveries,
you must pick OPTION 2 for the NRP 8th Edition Advanced Provider Curriculum
PROVIDERS MUST COMPLETE all elements of the their applicable 8th edition basic or advanced exam, BEFORE attending the in-person LIVE EVENT skills portion.
- Email or bring a printout of your 8th Edition AAP/NRP online "Completion" certificate with you when you come in for your skills session.
- Be sure you have added yourself to our NRP LIVE EVENT Roster from within the NRP 8th edition testing portal
